Capitata with quadrate manubrium forming radial lobes; mouth cruciform; interradial gonads on manubrium and radial lobes, or on radial lobes only, marginal tentacles generally developed along entire circular canal; tentacle bulbs usually with abaxialocelli. Two families: Polyorchidae (gonads sausage-like or spiral), and Moerisiidae (gonads on manubrium and perradial manubrial lobes extending along radial canals).
