Umbrella 17 mm wide, flat; manubrium quadrate, broad, flat; mouth with broad crenulated lips; 4 groups of radial canals, each bifurcating twice inside cruciform base of manubrium; 16 (4x4) radial canals leaving manubrium, all running to circular canal; gonads ribbon-like, along proximal 2/3 to 3/4 of length of radial canals, close to manubrium; about 360 marginal tentacles with endodermal roots extending into bell mesoglea, and somewhat fewer cordyli; about 80 adaxial ocelli.
