All spicules alike, short, massive, 4-winged, sword-shaped, bases with large leaf-cross, each with 50 thread-like myonemes. Coarse-meshed lattice shell with large pores, thick bars. Cell body spherical, opaque, yellow-brown. Spicule length: 0.2-0.36 mm; diameter of lattice shell: 0.2-0.3 mm; diameter of leaf-cross: 0.032 mm; diameter of cell body: 0.14 mm.
