Spicules of equal shape and size, 4-winged, very wide in proximal part (inside central capsule), tips sharp, leaf-cross very large. Cell body spherical, bright red. Diameter of cell body: 0.09 mm; length of spicules: 0.18-0.36 mm; breadth of leaf-cross: 0.024 mm.
