Haeckel, 1887

Skeletal spicules long and thin, quadrangular-prismatic or compressed, smooth. Lattice beams wide and flattened. Aspinal pores triangular to pentagonal or roundish, three to four times wider than the lattice beams. Accessory needles long, as long as shell radius, with long recurved denticles, very zigzag. Diameter of shell: 0.16 mm, coronal pores: 0.014 mm, sutural pores: 0.015 to 0.02 mm, bars: 0.004 mm.
