Haeckel, 1887

Spicules cylindrical, compressed. Accessory spines very numerous, branched. At spicule bases in larger pits oval aspinal pores surrounded by smaller pits without pores or with one sutural pore as large as to half size of aspinal pores. Shell diameter (excluding spicules): 0.12-0.18 mm; aspinal pores: 0.007-0.013 mm; sutural pores: 0.004-0.01 mm.
