Bell, 1884

T. okeni is a small (Bell's specimens: 85 mm) mottled red-brown sea cucumber. It is a short, cylindrical species, tapering towards the posterior, with a thin and pliable body. Spicules are absent from body wall and only terminal plates are seen in the tube feet. T. okeni is a coastal species, found buried in sand flats.
