(Selenka, 1867)

P. kefersteini is a brown sea cucumber flecked with white. It is a large species (large specimens up to 450mm), usually with 25 tentacles (16-27). The spicules are anchors with knobs at the vertex, bases unbranched (P. kefersteini spicules). This species may be found on reefs and amongst rubble on flat.
