Troschel, 1857

Shell small, conical, smooth; aperture car-shaped or oval, with complete peristome; operculum spiral and horny. Animal with long, bifid snout; mantle edge with or without pallial tentacle; foot folding transversely into anterior and posterior halves, latter with a median mucus gland.
