Description:
Non-brooding operculum with eccentric, broad, often terminally serrated talon (J. brasiliensis-operculum); brooding operculum without a talon. Collar chaetae geniculate, with fine marginal serrations. No apomatus-chaetae (J. brasiliensis-chaetae). Dorsal margins of collar fused to form a tunnel over the faecal groove.

Unknown.

Tube:
Tube calcareous, coiled anticlockwise; about 2 mm in diameter, with distinct longitudinal ridges.

Colour:
Unknown.

Habitat:
In the Oosterschelde on Zostera marina and japweed, Sargassum muticum .

Distribution:
Oosterschelde (The Netherlands). Also Portsmouth. Originally from subtropical seas.
