Agnatha

Comprising vertebrates that lack jaws. Agnathans are provided with sucking mouthparts with horny teeth; paired fins are absent or poorly developed. The skeleton is cartilaginous. Agnatha comprise the lampreys and hagfishes (about 63 living species).
