Description: Body length up to 2 mm. Body very slender. Antenna 1 with basal article shorter than the remaining three together. Pereiopods small with the bases of pereiopods 4-6 swollen. Uropods almost half the combined length of pleon and pleotelson; endopodite slender and two-articled but exopodite represented only by a very small projection of the basis.
Habitat: It has been found on flat muddy substrates, down to 140 m.
Distribution: North-east of Aberdeen, Northumberland and the south and west coasts of Norway.
