Coxal plate 4 distal margin sinuous; epimeral plate 3 prolonged posteriorly, distal angle subacute. Head with triangular lateral lobes, apex acute; eyes large, rounded. Antenna 1 equal to, or slightly longer than antenna 2, almost half the body length, peduncle article 1 equal to the length of articles 2 and 3 together, flagellum one and a half times the length of the peduncle. Antenna 2 peduncle articles 4 and 5 about equal, flagellum equal to articles 4 and 5 together. Gnathopod 1 small, feeble, propodus slender and a little shorter than the carpus, palm not delimited, margin with 3 to 5 long setae, dactylus inner margin setulose. Gnathopod 2 robust, propodus broadly oval, palm oblique, convex, delimited by a small tooth and a spine, margin distinctly serrated. Pereiopods 5 to 7 short and robust, merus broad, distal angle strongly produced; pereiopod 7 merus especially large and almost reaching the distal end of the carpus: pereiopods 6 and 7 basis expanded. Uropod 3 peduncle with three small stout marginal spines; articles 1 and 2 of ramus about equal. Telson elongate oval, with three pairs of small stout dorsolateral spines, apex rounded.

Whitish with brown patches on pereion.
Depth range from 50 to 130 metres.
