Coxal plate 1 prolonged anteriorly, margin truncated; plate 2 broader than long especially in male; plate 4 with anterodistal angle acute. Epimeral plate 3 posterodistal angle with very large upturned tooth. Eyes moderately large, rounded, dark brown in colour. Antenna 1 peduncle articles I and 2 subequal length, flagellum up to about 9-articulate. Antenna 2 slender, peduncle article 4 longer than 5, flagellum about 7-articulate. Gnathopod 1 carpal process with inner margin only weakly crenulate, setulose, apex upturned, propodus with inner margin smooth, setulose, dactylus short, only about one-quarter length of propodus. Gnathopod 2 carpus with long setose posterior lobe, apex of lobe toothed and with large spine, propodus very large and robust, elongate oval, palm about smooth with several small spines on the inner face and few setae on the outer, dactylus long and robust. Pereopods very slender. Telson oval, width about two-thirds length, apex narrowly rounded with pair of small setules.

Yellowish white speckled with orange and pink.
Depth range from 10 to 120 metres.
