Description: Coxal plates 1 and 2 very small and concealed by plate 3; plates 3 and 4 extremely large with the adjacent margins abutting. Epimeral plate 3 with the posterodistal angle prolonged, narrowly rounded. Head with a long rostrum reaching to the end of peduncle article 1 of antenna 1, lateral lobes emarginate; eyes very large. Antenna 1 peduncle very robust, article 1 equal in length to articles 2 and 3 together, flagellum short, about 4-articulate, article 1 stout and fringed with long setae. Antenna 2 slender, peduncle articles 4 and 5 about equal in length, flagellum small, about 4-articulate. Gnathopod 1 simple, propodus narrowly oval, posterior margin with four to six spines, distal spine paired, dactylus slender with the inner margin distinctly toothed. Gnathopod 2 subchelate, propodus rectangular, palm oblique delimited by a pair of stout spines, a small spinulose lobe, and further a spine on the proximal posterior margin; dactylus toothed on the inner margin. Pereiopod 7 basis with the distal angle acutely produced, distal margin sinuous, merus short and broad. Uropods 1 and 2 outer ramus shorter than inner one; rami of uropods with the margins microscopically toothed. Telson massive, elongate, reaching beyond the end of the rami of uropod 3, but not very deep proximally, margin with a few small spines.
