Elofson, 1938

Description:
Carapace large, 0.75-0.85 mm long, moderately inflated, greatest width a little behind mid-length. Greatest height well behind mid-length. Dorsal margin convex. Posterior margin denticulate. Dorsomedian sulcus weak. Male copulatory appendage with a relative large, subtriangular distal process (B. intermedia 10 ).

Habitat:
Sublittoral.

Distribution:
Fairly common around the British coasts, the southern North Sea, south Norway, Sweden and as far south as the Bay of Biscay.
