Carapace transversely oval. Surface shiny frosted, due to extreme close fine granulation, the granules becoming vesiculous and plainly visible to the naked eyed near the borders. Front with a fine double edge. Antero-lateral margins cur into four thin sharp-edged teeth, the first three angular, the fourth procurved. Outer surfaces of carpus and palm finely frosted. Ambulatory legs with the last articles hairy. (Guinot 1998)

Range: Andaman Islands (Alcock, 1898); Japan - Ishigaki-jima and Iriomote-jima (Sakai, 1976a), Ishigaki-jima (Miyake, 1983), Okukubi River, Okinawa (Shokita et al., 1998); China - Hainan Island (Dai & Yang, 1991); Philippines (A. Milne Edwards, 1873); Indonesia - Saparua (Balss, 1932), Sulawesi; Papua New Guinea - Buka (Sendler, 1923).
