Description: Colonies heavely branched, resembling gorgonians. Polyps often clustered at ends of terminal branchlets, absent from surface of stalk and main branches. Brightly coloured red, yellow, orange, pink and purple. Low calyces. Stalk solid with small canals in middle. Sclerites are spindles. Zooxanthellae absent.

Habitat: Reef slopes and walls.

Range: Tropical Indo-Pacific.
