Type species: I was unable to find any type species designation.

Total number of species estimated: 3

Description: Small sparsely branched colonies with thick branches. Colonies brightly coloured red, orange, purple. Polyps retractile in calyces that are arranged in more or less transverse rows. Sclerites are spindles. Zooxanthellae absent.

Habitat: Shady regions of the reef.

Range: Tropical Indo-Pacific.
