Vaughan and Wells, 1943

Genera: Three genera are found in the shallow waters of the Indo-West Pacific:
Genus Coscinaraea Coscinarea columna (1),
Genus Psammocora Psammocora contigua (1),
Genus Pseudosiderastrea Pseudosiderastrea tayamai (1).

Description: Corals massive, with calyces immersed (Psammocora, Pseudosiderastrea) or encrusting to foliaceous (Coscinaraea, Psammocora).
