Hooks: 6-7; anterior teeth: 3-4; posterior teeth: 6-10.
Maximum adult body length: 6 mm; tail: 26-33 %.
Body small and firm, opaque; transversal musculature absent; head wide; hooks not serrated. Fin bridge absent. Anterior fins of medium length, reaching posterior end of ventral ganglion, fully rayed, angular; posterior fins long, fully rayed, angular. Small collarette; gut diverticula absent; eyes with T-shaped pigment spot. Seminal vesicles with knob and trunk; position of seminal vesicles: touching both posterior fins and tail fin. Ovaries of medium length, reaching middle of anterior fins, broad; ova large. Adhesive papillae and adhesive organs absent. Apical glands absent.

Distribution: neritic; Peruvian coast.

Remarks: 4 specimens found.

Type locality: Puerto de Talara, Peru.
