Johnston and Taylor, 1919

Hooks: 9; anterior teeth: 3-4; posterior teeth: none.
Maximum adult body length: 4 mm; tail: 57 %.
Body firm and muscular; transversal musculature on trunk and tail; head wide; hooks not serrated. Fin bridge absent; one pair of short lateral fins both on the trunk and on the tail; lateral fins fully rayed, rounded. Collarette long; gut diverticula absent; eyes large, no pigment spot. Seminal vesicles oval; position of seminal vesicles: touching both posterior fins and tail fin. Ovaries medium length to the region of the ventral ganglion, large ova. Adhesive papillae present; adhesive appendage present; apical glands absent.

Distribution: benthic, neritic.

Remarks: one specimen found at Moreton Bay Australia.

Type locality: Caloundra, Moreton Bay, Australia [27°S; 152°E].
