Maximum adult body length: 4 mm; tail: 50 %.
Body firm and muscular; transversal musculature on trunk; head wide; hooks not serrated. Fin bridge absent; one pair of short lateral fins on tail; lateral fins fully rayed, rounded. Collarette long; gut diverticula absent; eyes large rounded, with a large T-shaped pigment spot. Seminal vesicles crescent shaped; position of seminal vesicles: touching both posterior fins and tail fin. Ovaries long to neck region, large ova. Adhesive papillae present; 2 adhesive appendages present; apical glands absent.

Distribution: benthic, neritic.

Remarks: 6 specimens found at Santa Catalina Island, California

Type locality: Fisherman’s Cove, Santa Catalina Island, California, U.S.A.
