Description: Long pseudotentacles with slightly enlarged tips extend from fissures. The tips are slightly enlarged and occasionally double lobed. Animal with extended pseudotentacles up to 6 cm.
Color: Pseudotentacles brown to dark gray, to bluish-green with shaded line and ring markings. Tips often darker.
Habitat: Inhabit narrow fissures in coral heads, with only the ends of the pseudotentacles extending from the openings. Long, unbranched true tentacles may be extended during night.
Distribution: Occasional Bahamas and Caribbean.
