Copper lobster
Palinurellus gundlachi
(Von Martens, 1881)

Description:
This lobster is orange-red, to orange-brown. No obvious markings on its body. The antennae and claws are short in comparison to the body length.
Size: up to 15 cm body length.

Habitat:
Inhabits the deeper reefs, usually stays hidden, even during the night.
Depth: ranges from 20 m down to 45 m.

Distribution:
Occasional all over the Caribbean.
