Description (shell):
Shell tall, delicate, glossy, semitransparent when fresh; whorls very tumid with deep sutures and without any ornament. Aperture oval, outer lip with a broad anal sinus; umbilicus small. The shell has ten whorls. Last whorl occupies about one third of the shell height, aperture about a quarter.

Size:
Up to 4 x 1.5 mm.

Colour:
White or colourless.

Animal:
The body of the animal is white and shows the same features as Aclis minor .

Habitat:
On soft bottoms but at greater depths than the other Aclis species.

Distribution:
Only in the northern North Sea (Distr. A. walleri).
